“We must have music to drive our fears away” (Noel Coward, Play orchestra, play)

Suitable for the whole family, and don’t forget that children can get free tickets when accompanied by and adult!*

Whether you are strictly classical, a lover of musicals, an André Rieu fan, or just an old romantic, this concert has something for you. From the ice of Finland, and the snow of Austria, to Christmas songs best heard around an open fire (roasted chestnut anyone?), this concert is full of favourites that cross the generations and musical styles.

We’ve left out the Christmas carols this year to give you chance to remember that Santa Claus is coming to
town, with his twice-checked list based on knowing who’s been nice or otherwise. Please get ready to join in.

Get in the spirit for the most wonderful time of the year, with Nicholas Simpson on the rostrum and Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra in festive mood.

*free tickets for children are limited to one child per accompanying adult.

Conductor: Nicholas Simpson

Leader: Emily Sharratt
