11th May, 3pm, Huddersfield Town Hall

An Afternoon of Music & Giving:

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of live music as we take you on a European Excursion — a journey through the rich and vibrant sounds of France, Finland, and Bohemia.

Our exciting programme features:

🎺 Dukas’ Fanfare to La Péri – A bold and regal opener that sets a majestic tone.
🎻 Sibelius’ Violin Concerto – Performed by the exceptional Xander Croft, this hauntingly beautiful and technically dazzling piece is sure to captivate.
🎶 Dvořák’s Symphony No. 6 – Overflowing with warmth, folk-inspired melodies, and Bohemian charm.

We’re also delighted to welcome Alzheimer’s Research UK, who will be joining us to raise awareness of their important work. During the afternoon, there will be a charity raffle to help support this vital cause.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of inspiring music while supporting a meaningful charity.

Music making for more than 150 years!

The Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra perform concerts five times a season, either in Huddersfield Town Hall, or Huddersfield Parish Church. We bring together a mix of players, young and old, from the Town and surrounding areas who share their talent and love of music with each other every week.
