***IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE***

5/1/2021

Dear friends,

The Orchestra is not yet in a position to confirm any upcoming concerts but it is our ongoing hope and wish that we will perform in front of a live audience again soon. Once this can be confirmed, we will let you know all the details via this site, on our social media and/or via email* (*for those who are signed up as a “friend of the phil” or a subscriber).

The Orchestra were very happy to resume string rehearsals before Christmas but sadly the recent restrictions have yet again halted any further rehearsals happening in this new year.

Many thanks to all those who have supported us or attended any of our season concerts up to now. We hope that you will come back to us and continue to support us when normality returns.

Until then, stay safe and happy new year!

Music making for more than 150 years!

The Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra perform concerts five times a season, either in Huddersfield Town Hall, Dewsbury Town Hall or Huddersfield Parish Church. We bring together a mix of players, young and old, from the Town and surrounding areas who share their talent and love of music with each other every week.
